Behind on the updates! Sorry?

Things are going on. Like, busy things. Like, hour long naps in the sunshine and stuff. Hey, I deserved that nap! So whatever.

Really though, busy with the writing and the plotting and the life thing. Quick update here and then I’m back to it.

Watched the lovely Cherie Saulter’s No Matter What on Netflix the other night. Because it’s on Netflix and you really should be watching it too. It’s good throughout but I think what really makes it are stars Matt Webb and Waylan Gross. They’re both wonderful.

And then because I’m apparently on a Miyazaki kick (can’t complain about that, right?) my new roommate and I watched Castle of Cagliostro. Which is like James Bond meets gothic romance meets 70’s anime. It’s awesome.

Finally, I watched Insidious again because that is also streaming on Netflix (my original post is HERE). Was curious to see how it would hold up on a second viewing. Answer is, pretty well. All of the problems I had with it the first time around are still there but more importantly, it’s still creepy in most of the right places and left me jumpy even when I already knew what was going on. So there’s that.
