In case you want to take stock of my insanity, here’s a wrap up of my January movie watching. I got a little distracted by Downton Abbey there at the end but I’m OK with that. Downton Abbey is brilliant.

But here is what I did manage, in the order I managed it:

1. 1/1/2012- Cinema Paradiso
2. 1/1/2012- Can’t Hardly Wait
3. 1/2/2012- Battle Royale
4.* 1/4/2012- Blue Hawaii
5.* 1/5/2012- X-Men: First Class
6.* 1/7/2012- Happythankyoumoreplease
7.* 1/8/2012- Mao’s Last Dancer
8.* 1/10/2012- The Corporation
9.* 1/11/2012- Tiny Furniture
10.* 1/12/2012- Wendy and Lucy
11.* 1/12/2012- Centurion
12.* 1/13/2012- Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid
13. 1/14/2012- True Grit
14.* 1/15/2012- Forks Over Knives
15. 1/15/2012- Morning Glory
16.* 1/16/2012- Columbiana
17.* 1/18/2012- The Artist
18.* 1/19/2012- Bad Teacher
19. 1/19/2012- Jane Eyre
20.* 1/22/2012- Shame
21.* 1/22/2012- La Dolce Vita
22.* 1/23/2012- Vivre Sa Vie
23.* 1/23/2012- Film Socialisme
24.* 1/24/2012- A Hard Day’s Night
25.* 1/25/2012- The Third Man
26.* 1/27/2012- The A-Team
27.* 1/28/2012- Catfish

The ones with the * are the ones I had not seen before. What’s the count on that? 21 I think. I was also very excited to see Battle Royale in the theater in a very rare screening. Also in a theater: Shame, Vivre Sa Vie, and Film Socialisme.

I also watched a bunch of short films that I haven’t included in this list. I should start linking to more of those. Hey, here’s one now!

No movie update for yesterday since I had class after work and that was pretty much my day. We did watch the first 20 minutes or so of The Verdict though. So I guess that was something?

Aaaaand. Apparently my insane idea to watch an absurd number of movies this year has inspired another challenge. Mr. Matthew Bowers is apparently going to try and beat me at my own game. Bring it sir. Just you bring it.
