Catching up on posting here. Yesterday I finally watched Trick ‘r Treat. It’s super fun! Good call everyone who kept telling me to watch it. You all were right.
I’m a little behind on posting so I’m just going to keep this one brief.
Trick ‘r Treat, 2007. Dir. & Written by Michael Dougherty. Starring Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, Dylan Baker.
Seriously, this movie is fun. Some of it is silly, some of it gimmicky, but it’s all really entertaining. It’s an anthology telling several interweaving stories. I don’t have one particular favorite to point out, there’s something good/creepy/gross/clever in all of them. I know this one didn’t have a great release, there were delays and lack of publicity, etc. It’s a shame too. This would have been a lot of fun to see play in the theater.
I’m really, really tired so I don’t really have much more to say right now. I’ll probably post about my day 12 movie Annabelle tomorrow. And what’s next on the list? No idea! Probably something else streaming on Netflix. I’ll see what my queue has to offer. And you can always follow my progress on Letterboxd.
If you haven’t seen it, here’s the trailer for Trick ‘r Treat.
