Remakes are lame. David Tennant is the opposite. Stick the one in the other and you have the potential for… well, something that’s not completely lame?
It’s kind of all over the internet so you may have already heard this, but David Tennant has been cast as Peter Vincent in the Fright Night remake. I have a lot of thoughts and feelings about this remake and the horror remake trend in general which can basically be summed up as “UGH” but pretty much anything involving David Tennant makes me squee. Is this sad? (HINT: correct answer is “No”).
Here’s The Hollywood Reporter for details. Also, McLovin is joining the cast as Evil Ed.

Oh I’m so not sure how I feel about that. Because Tennant is cheesy and adorable and hilarious and scrawny and weird-lookin’ in a hot way, which SEEMS like it’d be all good, but. Remakes.
